Tina is Director and founder of ethical management consulting. She has been working with managers in a consultancy role for 13 years helping them handle complex issues.
Previous experience for 7 years as Chief Executive of a social enterprise has enabled Tina to understand the importance of people development on the triple bottom line. She believes in leveraging good people practice through learning and development –an ethical HR service which is prevention rather than cure. This ethical change management strategically links people and organisational development for realistic business impact. Her style is flexible and responsive and she is confident in working across the sectors at all levels and in diverse cultures, with an ability to quickly gain respect from others. Part of her value is in bringing learning together, within and from across organisations, with sensitivity.
Having a managerial “T-shirt” means that whilst recognising the need for learning and development Tina appreciates the pressures of the management role and organisational life. She designs action learning development that makes best use of individuals’ time in busy careers and own work issues. To complement her practical on the job experience and learning she graduated from Lancaster University in 2002 with a Masters in Management Learning. www.lums.lancs.ac.uk/alumprofiles/mamll/7851/. She has also completed training on consultancy skills with Roffey Park, facilitation skills with the University of Surrey and is an NLP practitioner.

I have quite a few passions; weeding the garden is one of my favourites and I go in the garden regularly to think through tricky problems. The patience and resilience needed to cope with the ups and downs of nature I’ve found is good learning for the business environment. I also enjoy photography and love all things French (well nearly all!). But equal to all that is a passion about learning and the potential of human beings. I am constantly curious about people and their capacity to develop and I gain great and quiet satisfaction from others’ progress. |
